Two A.I assistants enter, one A.I leaves - Part 2 - SIDE BY SIDE ROUND ONE

If you missed the last play around over at Arena.AI, I got a bunch of random A.I image generation models to try different challengers on for size, with some very interesting and occasional oddball results. This time we're trying out Arena's 'SIDE BY SIDE' option where I get to pick the models to play with.  And when I say play with, I mean 'pit a random selection against each other in elimination format until one winner stands proud above all else.' Because I feel that's a true reflection on anything called Arena, a big bracket brawl to separate the A.I digital wheat from the chaff. Or in this case the 1's from the 0's.

Alpharius 1.1 - The Primarch (Still) needs a tuning!

While it flat our refused to do anything on the ancient relic that is Garage Intelligence downstairs in the workshop, upstairs on my writing machine things have been going well with Alpharius - my Jan.AI based stocks analysis model. Until I recently started to notice it's fondness for confusing dates and repeating itself when I asked it about the news..

Two A.I assistants enter, one A.I leaves - Part 1

In an effort to gain sponsorship for this site, I was told what's holding me back from gaining daily new Lexus model money is some 'low value content'. Therefore while I work out what to do next on Garage Intelligence machine and what may or may not work LLM model wise, today let's look at something useful for a change.  Today we're comparing two services on the one site, by pressing some buttons over at Arena.Ai.  This is the first part of a two-parter as we start off with a bit of a slugfest first to see what this site is capable of.

Sunday is tinker day

It's always nice to have a few spare hours to while away in the shed and so that's what I did, tidying up a few things (including Project Garage Intelligence itself) and managing to both lose my tools and slice my finger open in the process. With so much fun on board, who doesn't love them some tinker time?

The 2000's called to try and sell me some more real estate

It's early 2000's and I've spent $1500 AUD on a Pentium based computer system with as much grunt as a Daewoo Matiz. It was rocking 1.6Ghz (the original deal came with a 1.5 but for an extra $100 I could move to the next model of Ghz goodness, score!) and probably the biggest remembering point was the stonking great size of of the HDD.  20 stonking gigabytes. And look at me now, 20ish something years later and using much faster tech that's three times the size! Yes three times! Although the way we're going, this is actually quite the terrible idea..

The good and bad of Jan's machine spirt. Also meet Alpharius.

I'm having a great time with Jan AI upstairs on my blogging/gaming/pretty much everything rig. The trouble is, her machine spirit seems angry with downstairs Garage Intelligence it seems, to the point that it doesn't even want to say hello.

The software reports - 'You have a completely different engine here.'

My GPU isn't the one I thought it was. Also it seems some software (like Ollama) really doesn't want a bar of me at the moment for some reason.. But hey, at least my Goblin looks good!

GI AGENT 1 - Mikey the Mazda Mechanic V1.0

Well since we've got liftoff and all drives are intact, it's probably time to install some kind of Artificial Intelligence into Garage Intelligence and see what it can do (if anything.) And in my first experiment, I want to build an agent that can consult the Mazda repair manual for my 2012 Mazda 6, so I don't waste time trying to find the fix I'm looking for come service/troubleshoot time. Surely something like that could work here?  Surely?

Educate yourself, make your artificial view bigger!

I feel if I'm going to have a bash at rolling my own A.I on project Garage Intelligence, it would probably pay to give myself a basic understanding of how the whole Artificial Intelligence works. Luckily there's plenty to read up on and get stuck into if you want to do the same! (This list will be updated as we go!
